Betsy Smith, Realtor I am a retired teacher who taught in various facets in the education community for 29 years. I have a degree in Education from Illinois State University, a Master’s Degree from Northern Arizona University and Early Childhood and SEI Endorsements. During these 29 years, along with my teaching duties, I supervised various summer school programs, committees and received several honorable teacher recognitions. I also hold my Property and Casualty and Life and Disability licenses in the Insurance industry for the last 15 years and have been successfully working in Real Estate since 2007. This vast background adds to my credentials as a Real Estate Professional. I specialize in buyers, sellers, short sales, and relocation clients Valley-wide. Why I’m Different… I am able to leverage my experience as a successful teacher, licensed Insurance agent and Realtor to educate my clients on current market trends, potential insurance needs, and the entire purchase or sale process. I am known for outstanding client service, 24/7 availability, and working hard with my clients best interest in mind to negotiate the best deal possible. My clients know it is not about the sale, it is about finding the perfect answer to their Real Estate needs. Integrity and Honesty are traits I hold in the highest regard when working with them. I don’t consider them my customer; I consider them my client and hope to have a lifelong working relationship. I Believe In Giving Back… My husband and I are firm believers in giving back and are very passionate about education and helping kids. After a personal experience which left our 10 year old daughter in the hospital for a very long time we saw the need for kids to get help with school while in the hospital. They need this help to keep up while out and find some sort of normalcy while in the hospital. We created a school located in Banners Cardon’s Children’s Hospital. Through our work and philanthropy we have been successful in keeping 2 full-time teachers employed and helping sick kids. Our goal is to ensure that children who spend extended time at the hospital do not fall behind in school and have the best opportunity to complete their education on time. In My Free Time…Ha, now that is a good one… I love to read, watch old movies, scuba dive, travel, and workout. But honestly, I love what I do and spend a ton of time working for my clients!
