ENERGY * INTEGRITY * RESULTS
My real estate business is client-centered. I focus on listening to what each client needs, and am flexible enough to understand that these needs may change with the market, the client's situation, or even the experience of looking at homes and the features that are offered. Communication, in the form(s) preferred by the client, is responsive and direct. Since many buyers are from elsewhere, my background as a transplanted midwesterner (1995) gives me empathy and understanding of the climatic, cultural, and Arizona-specific housing issues buyers may face.
My educational background includes degrees from the University of Michigan in Psychology (BA '81), Environmental Studies (BA '81), and Education (MAEd 94). I taught in public schools for 15 years, until 2004, when I became a REALTOR®. I still seek out regular educational experiences related to real estate, and have completed my GRI and EcoBroker designations. Because real estate law and practice are always changing, I use the many opportunities around me to stay current in my field.
My business grows by referrals from clients who have been happy with my work. Many of these clients I now count as friends.
